RESOURCES - COMMUNITY SERVICE

You Can Make a Difference.

It’s not hard to see the needs surrounding us every day. But together, we can make a difference!

At SPC, we believe God has called each of us to serve.  That’s why we’re committed to making a difference in our city .

If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives

will begin  to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight.” – Isaiah 58:10

How Can I Get Involved in Community Service?

There are several great ways to get involved in community service at SPC:

Attend an MISSION Community Service Event:

If you are interested in checking out community service @ SPC, serving at

one of our community service projects is a great way to start.

  • Projects are open to everyone – in fact, we encourage you to bring your friends!
  • Projects are in various areas of our community
  • Past projects have included working with the homeless, cleaning up the French Broad,

volunteering at Loving Food Resources and Manna Food Bank.

      Mission C3-GroupCOMING SOON

For those who want to spend a little more time serving our community, joining a C3Group

is the perfect option for you! C3-Groups  consists of approximately 12 people that get together

each week in a convenient location to meet new people, study the bible, learn something new

and have fun. Mission C3-Groups are C3-Groups with a community service twist!

      Each Mission C3-Group:

  • Plans and participates in community service projects throughout our community
  • Leads the projects that they plan and provides opportunities for church-wide participation.

      S.O.S.

This is an outreach ministry that helps rescue victim families of domestic/family violence with a

trained staff, partner agencies, and comprehensive discipleship programs. St. Paul’s Church

believes that Church is much more than Church members meeting in a building and this conviction

gave birth to the mission. As a registered North Carolina non-profit Corporation we strive to use our

gifts and resources to provide relief to families who are trapped in cycles of abuse and violence. Our

particular focus is service to battered women and their children. We serve this population because

we believe the biggest impact we can have is helping families leave generational cycles of violence

       and abuse.
