You Can Make a Difference.
It’s not hard to see the needs surrounding us every day. But together, we can make a difference! At SPC, we believe God has called each of us to serve. That’s why we’re committed to making a difference in our city .
If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives
will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight.” – Isaiah 58:10
How Can I Get Involved in Community Service?
There are several great ways to get involved in community service at SPC:
Attend a MISSION Community Service Event:
If you are interested in checking out community service @ SPC, serving at
one of our community service projects is a great way to start.
- Projects are open to everyone – in fact, we encourage you to bring your friends!
- Projects are in various areas of our community
- Past projects have included working with the homeless, cleaning up the French Broad, volunteering at Loving Food Resources and Manna Food Bank.
Mission C3-Group - COMING SOON
For those who want to spend a little more time serving our community, joining a C3Group
is the perfect option for you! C3-Groups consists of approximately 12 people that get
together each week in a convenient location to meet new people, study the bible, learn
something new and have fun. Mission C3-Groups are C3-Groups with a community
service twist!
Each Mission C3-Group:
- Plans and participates in community service projects throughout our community
- Leads the projects that they plan and provides opportunities for church-wide participation.
