To Love Jesus
Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with al your mind”. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-38
Every aspect of the programming for children at St. Paul’s is Christ-centered. Children’s Ministry proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all that we do. We offer children many opportunities to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and then to be discipled in His Word by His people.
To Worship Him
Yet a time is coming and has now come when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24-25
The children of SPC learn that worship is a 24/7 occurrence, that true believers worship God with their lives—in their thoughts, words and deeds. They learn that by living their lives as true believers throughout the week they are truly worshipping God as he intended. The worship time on Sundays is a celebration of collective worship by the family of God.
To Learn of Him
For you are near me, O Lord, and all your commands are true. I have learned from my earliest days that your decrees never change.” Psalm 119:151-152
The children of SPC are offered discipleship classes during both the Sunday morning and evening services where they learn Bible stories and truths which can be applied to everyday life.
