Why is the prayer ministry important?
We are taught to pray and ask God for His power to be displayed. Jesus prayed to the Father and asked His disciples to pray. It is interesting that the disciples never asked Jesus to teach them how to teach, preach or sing but they did ask Him to teach them how to pray. It was important to them as they witnessed it's importance in the life of Jesus.

What do the various prayer groups and prayer teams pray for?
We pray both individually and collectively that God will strengthen us, forgive us and heal us. We also pray for God to lead, restore, and transform our lives, our churches, our communities and the world.

What if I don't know how to pray?
Being in a prayer group is a great teaching help. We must all learn how to develop a relationship with the Lord and prayer is an important way to do this.

Do you have to be invited by someone to join the prayer ministry?
No, the various prayer ministries are open to everyone. In some cases you will first have to participate in a short training program. You may contact the ministry leader for the specific prayer ministry that you are interested in.

May anyone join the prayer ministry?
Yes, the prayer ministries are open to anyone committing to praying for the church, the world and for individuals.

Do you have a 24-hour prayer ministry?
No, not in the traditional sense some churches do. Some of our prayer groups meet at specific times and places, including praying at home as well as small groups.
